About

A lifelong interest in ritual and celebration led me to become a Deputy Marriage Commissioner at San Francisco City Hall in 2000. Every week, under the gold-leafed rotunda, I performed hundreds of wedding ceremonies and domestic unions. Prior to this time, I marked important passages in people’s lives,  as a photographer.

I hold a a Certificate of Ministry from the Universal Life Church and a Master’s Degree from San Francisco State University. I work in a relaxed, yet professional manner, with the humor and flexibility of a seasoned parent. My listening and writing skills allow me to establish trust, build rapport and create a memorable ceremony from a non-denominational perspective.
